American 14 carat white gold pocket watch, made by Hamilton Circa 1940. Three body and polished case with engraved bezels and case band and hinged 14 carat gold cuvette with transferred photographs of a young sailor and a dog.
Brushed textured silver dial with applied white gold geometric Arabic numerals, engraved dot minutes divisions, subsidiary dial for the seconds with Hamilton signature and blue steel split arrow hands. Rhodium-plated movement with Geneva Striping decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to five positions, self compensating Breguet balance spring and micrometre regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed.
