Gold and champlevé enamel open faced keyless lever

A fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold and champlevé enamel open faced square shaped keyless lever dress watch, made in the 1920’s. Rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Matte gilt dial with black champlevé Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, inner engraved laurel border and original blued steel Breguet hands. Case with champlaurel leaf bezel and border, engine turned to the back, the border and centre decorated with white and dark blue champlevé enamel decoration.  Dial, case and movement signed.
