A very fine English 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch with power reserve indication, circa 1864-1865. Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, jewels in screwed chatons, fusee with chain and maintaining power, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, index regulator. Fixed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, power reserve indication and original blued steel pear hands. Polished case, reeded band.  Dial and movement signed, case with London hallmarks for 1864-1865.
