Open faced minute repeating keyless lever by Patek Philippe

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced minute repeating keyless lever dress watch, circa 1909. Sold to Haman & Co, St. Paul, Minneapolis on June 3rd, 1914. Rhodium plated movement, fausses côtes decoration, 31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved dedication. Cream enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel spade hands. The case back decorated in enamel with the Putnam coat-of-arms and motto, black enamel and gold flower, swag border, the bezel decorated to match. Dial, case and movement19 signed, case numbered.
