A very fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless lever Belle Epoque dress watch, circa 1905. Matte gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. Matte gold dial with dauphine numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case, foliate engraved bezel, the back decorated with engraved foliage and a flower swag, grey guilloché enamel stripes and borders and white enamel borders. Dial, case and movement signed.
