A fine, small Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set open faced Louis XV style keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1890. Matte gilt movement, bar calibre, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Louis XV style Roman numerals, outer gilt dot minute divisions, outermost large Arabic five-minute numerals and partially replaced fancy gilt hands. Polished case, the back decorated with a polychrome enamel scene of cupid at his anvil, rose-cut diamond-set flower garland below. Movement punched Cluses.
