A very fine and slim Swiss 18 carat gold and platinum open faced minute repeating keyless lever dress watch, circa 1925. Retailed by Feagans & Co. Nickel movement, 29 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, 8 adjustments, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Matted silver dial with champlevé cubist Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel fuseaux hands. Polished case, engraved monogram on the back, platinum bezels, the rest in gold. Movement signed, case stamped with Meylan‘s mark, dial signed by the retailer.
