A fine Swiss 18-carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Matte gilt dial, 25 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, centrifugal governor. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, outer Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and original gold spade hands. Polished case, the back with engraved foliate monogram RN. Movement signed LeCoultre & Co under the hour hammer, case numbered.
