Rose gold repeating lever chronograph

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased five-minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, circa 1890. Retailed by Golay Fils & Stahl, Genève, Switzerland. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 35 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with painted black Arabic hours, outer minute and 1/5th seconds divisions with red Arabic five-minute/seconds numerals and blued steel spade hands. Solid, polished case with rectangular pushers on the band for the start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph and split-seconds function. Dial signed, case and cuvette signed, movement signed and numbered.
