A fine, elegant and oversized Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever dress watch, made in the 1950’s. Polished case, flat bezel, stepped band. Silvered dial with applied gold baton indexes, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original gold baton hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel self compensating Breguet balance spring, ‘whiplash’ regulator. Polished case, flat bezel, stepped band. Dial, case and movement signed, case numbered.
