A fine, unusual Swiss 18-carat gold keyless lever pendant watch designed as a small lantern, made in the 1950s. Rhodium-plated movement, rectangular with canted corners, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Satine gold dial with applied gold dart indexes, the Rolex crown logo in place of 12, and original gold feuilles hands. Lantern form case, the back set with red glass. Dial, case, and movement signed. Comes with an 18-carat gold fine chain and a Guarantee of Origin.
