A fine and unusual Swiss 18 carat gold keyless lever pendant watch designed as a small lantern, made in the 1950s. Rhodium-plated movement, rectangular with canted corners, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Satine silver dial with applied gold dart indexes, the Rolex crown logo in place of 12 and original gold alpha hands. Lantern-form case, the back set with red glass. Dial, case and movement signed.
