Gold, enamel and diamond-set pendant watch by Patek Philippe

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set keyless lever pendant watch with 14 carat gold and enamel long chain, circa 1895. Sold on June 14, 1904. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and original gold Louis XV hands. Hinged bezel decorated with green guilloché enamel and chased with gold arabesque, hinged case back overlaid with green guilloché enamel and a lyre in rose-cut diamonds, gold arabesque border. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
