Gold enamel painted hunting cased pendant watch by Longines

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, pearl and diamond-set hunting cased lever keyless pendant watch, circa 1890. Rhodium-plated movement, etched decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the prize medals. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals with gold paillon stars between, outer gold paillon minute divisions and original gold Louis XV hands. The case front is decorated with a finely painted on enamel scene of two small boys talking within a foliate and flower border and a rose-cut diamond-set flower, royal blue enamel border, a polychrome enamel scene of two geese by a water trough in a landscape, the border decorated to match the front, graduated split pearl-set borders, scalloped band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case numbered.
