A very fine, rare and thin Swiss platinum open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1940. Rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Matte silver dial with white gold faceted baton indexes, outer minute divisions and original pink gold baton hands. Solid case, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, rose gold crown. Dial and movement signed Vacheron, the case with Verger Frères punch mark, case and movement numbered.
