A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless dress watch made by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, circa 1940. A solid, polished plain case with a two tone silver dial, inner minute/second divisions, Roman numerals at the quarters, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered top quality precision movement with caliber 439/6c has Geneva striping decoration, a special fine temperature adjusting device, 17 jewels and a lever escapement. The case, dial and movement are signed.
