A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced dress pocket watch by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, circa 1940. It has a mechanical keyless pendant winding movement with a lever escapement. The salmon coloured dial features white Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, matching white stick index markers, a minute track, a large subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold baton hands. The timepiece is housed in an 18 carat yellow gold case with a polished back, a thin dress profile, a fluted winding crown, and a distinctive triangular suspension bow.
