An elegant Swiss 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket lever watch, made by Audemars Frères in Geneva, circa 1940. This watch features a dodecahedral (twelve sided) 14 carat yellow gold case with a double bow engraved with: Medailles Ostenues Aydemars Frères Genève, Par L’ancienne Maison Audemars Fondée en 1811. The gilt guilloché dial includes baton hour markers, an iron track, blued Arabic numerals in round cartouches, a blued second hand at 6 o’clock, and blued Breguet style hands. It has a handwound mechanical movement with a lever escapement, signed Audemars frères Genève.
