A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat white and yellow gold open faced keyless lever center seconds dress watch with digital triple calendar, made in the 1920s. Rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, stamped twice with the Seal of the Geneva quality mark, 18 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Two-tone dial, an eccentric oval with Breguet hours, outer minute divisions and original blued steel spade hands, an outermost fifth of a second track with Arabic five second numerals, apertures in the lower half for the so-called American perpetual calendar indicating the date, days of the week and months of the year. The polished case with inclined white gold bezel and bow, a yellow gold band, bicoloured back and correctors on the band. Dial signed, case numbered and punched with the Verger Frères mark, movement numbered.
