Gold minute repeating chronograph with register by Vacheron & Constantin

A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split-seconds chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with instantaneous 30-minute register, circa 1907. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micro-regulation. Gold hinged cuvette with presentation inscription Frank Gates Allen Moline Illinois – from his wife – Feb 14th, 1907, repeat slide and chronograph split button to the band. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track with five-seconds/minute Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register at 12 and partially replaced gilt spade hands. Solid, polished case. Case, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
