Rose gold hunting cased minute repeater

A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch made for the South American market, circa 1890. Nickel movement, damascened, 28 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette engraved with movement details, transparent back bezel for viewing the movement. Silver dial with printed Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, centresilver and the outermost in applied gold floral decoration, subsidiary sunken seconds and original blued steel spade hands. Case engraved with squares and leaves to both sides, vacant shield in the centre, borders engraved with foliage, band chased and engraved in repeated pattern.
