Rose gold lever watch with 7 complications

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph, moon phases, and age, circa 1890. Retailed by G. Legrand A Geneve, 30, Rue Montpensier, Paris. Rhodium-plated movement attributed to LeCoultre & Co, Geneva striping decoration, 30 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second chronograph division, Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, the months with leap-year cycle and seconds, moon phase aperture with moon’s age on the border and original gold spade hands. Massive, engine turned case with polished borders, sprung front cover with a monogram highlighted with black champlevé enamel. Cuvette signed by the retailer.
