Gold hunting cased complicated watch by Henri Huguenin

A very fine, rare and large Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1890. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette with engine-turned border, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, Arabic five-second numerals to 300 units, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and the months, seconds with inner moon phase aperture and original gold Louis XV hands. Massive case, engine-turned with polished borders. Cuvette signed.
