An unusual German gold-plated semi-skeletonized keyless lever special edition pocket watch with gold-plated chain made to celebrate Leica’s 80th anniversary in 1993. Gilt movement, semi-skeletonized with decorated bridges to the front and reverse, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, self-compensating flat hairspring, shock-protected. White chapter ring with black Roman numerals, white subsidiary seconds ring with Arabic minutes and original black Louis XV style hands. Polished case, coin-edge band, glazed reverse, revealing semi-skeletonized movement and decorated movement ring. Dial signed. Accompanied by a Leica box and blank guarantee.
