A very fine, thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1918. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. Sold on November 12th, 1919. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Extra, rhodium-plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel spade hands.  Polished case, the back cover engraved with a monogram, concealed hinge. Dial, case and movement signed, case numbered.
