An Austrian silver open faced key wound pocket watch, circa 1800. The movement with a verge escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic quarter hours and moon hands, the motto C’est toujours l’heure de faire du bien in the lower half. The case has rope twisted bezels and a glass cover in a decorative frame on the front. Dial signed Ignace Lichtenster, movement numbered and signed Ignatzius Lichtenstern in Vienna.
