Large English gold min. repeating duplex watch Circa 1825

A large English 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating pocket watch with duplex escapement, circa 1825. Gilt full plate movement, duplex escapement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance with large compensation weights, diamond end stone, polished hammers striking on two gongs. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilt hands. Polished large consular case, monogram to reverse. Dial and movement signed, case stamped ‘SB’.
