A very fine French 18 carat rose gold quarter repeating pocket watch with jump hours, circa 1835. Accompanied by the original gold chain and key. An engine-turned back and a hinged gilt cuvette. Silver, engine-turned dial, jump hour aperture at the top with Arabic numerals, eccentric minute chapter, subsidiary seconds and gold Breguet hand. Frosted gilt movement, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance with flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Cuvette signed Breguet.
