Gold full hunter watch with monogram

A French 18 carat guilloché gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, made by Charles Oudin, circa 1835. The watch features a hand wound mechanical stacked movement with lever escapement. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track marked at five minute intervals with red Arabic numerals, a sunk subsidiary dial displaying constant seconds (hand missing), and spade shaped hands. The gold guilloché case includes a cover engraved with interlaced numerals, including D, and the cuvette is engraved with Charles OUDIN. Horloger de la Marine Palais Royal 52 Paris, with medals from 1806 to 1867.
