A recased English 18 carat gold and enamel open faced duplex watch with center seconds, circa 1820. Gilt finished movement, duplex escapement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and center seconds. Recent associated case with polychrome enamel view of a pastoral lake scene to the back, bezel, pendant and bow with opaque enamels in red, white and blue. Movement signed, case stamped ‘RD’.
