A fine and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased keyless lever pendant watch with matching brooch, circa 1865. Retailed by A.H. Rodanet & Cie, Paris.
Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial and Roman numerals and blued steel moon style hands. Case with chased geometrical decorated bezel, rim, band and bow, translucent green enamel on guilloché enamel background on both sides, the front centred by engraved and diamond set initials, the back centred by an engraved floral and geometrical decoration. Comes with an associated 14 carat gold, green enamel and diamond set fleur-de-lys-shaped brooch. Case numbered, cuvette signed by maker and retailer, movement numbered underneath the dial.
