A fine, rare and early Swiss 18 carat gold five pounds George IV coin watch, circa 1938. Jeweled movement. Champagne coloured dial with Breguet numerals. Case with snap on back, all hinged within a George IV five pounds coin with the head of George IV to the cover and dated 1904, King George fighting the dragon to the reverse and dated 1937, the hinged cover opened by depressing a concealed thumbpiece in the band. Case, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with original box.
