A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases, circa 1890. Made for T. Martin, 151 Regent Street, London, circa 1890.
Gilt finished lever movement, cut bimetallic balance, wolf’s tooth winding, repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. Gold cuvette engraved T. Martin, No. 3272, 151 Regent Street, London. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, outer railway minute divisions, four subsidiary dials for day, date, months and constant seconds, aperture for moon phases. Plain case, repeating slide in the band, hinged back. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
