An attractive French 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set open faced à toc quarter repeating verge watch, circa 1790. Gilt finished verge movement, engraved and pierced balance cock, à toc quarter repeating onto the case. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Case with pearl set bezel and rim, translucent Royal blue enamel over engine turned sunburst decorated back, centred by a gold and pearl set floral decoration, repeating through the pendant. Dial and movement signed.
