An English silver and enamel pair cased keywound verge watch with later skeletonized back, circa 1775-1799. Full plate gilt finished verge movement, chain fusée, gilt regulator, polychrome enamel portrait of a lady to the balance cock with mock pendulum, silver tipped Egyptian pilasters. Champlevé silvered dial with Roman numerals. Outer Arabic five minute divisions, plain inner case with glazed back, polished outer case with aperture. Dial and movement signed.
