A very fine and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, diamond and ruby set open faced keyless lever Art Nouveau pendant watch with matching brooch, circa 1904. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, outer railway minute divisions with gilt Arabic five minute divisions. Gilt griffin, leaf and scroll decorated case with blue and green enamel background, two scrolls set with 21 diamonds, with a drop and a single round diamond and a pear shaped ruby. Comes with matching gold brooch with blue and green enamel and a single scroll set with diamonds and a griffin’s head with a round ruby in it’s mouth. Case, dial, and cuvette signed, case, cuvette and movement numbered.
