An exceptional, highly important and extremely rare Swiss 18 carat gold double dialed clock watch with 21 complications including Westminster chimes, minute repeating, power reserve indicator for movement and chime, perpetual calendar, leap year cycle, sunrise and sunset, running equation of time, sky chart, time of meridian passage by Sirius, lunar orbit, time of meridian passage by moon, twenty four hours and rapid calendar correction, circa 2008. Star calibre 2000. Nickel lever movement, 54 jewels, screw balance, Breguet balance spring, minute repeating on five gongs, Westminster Chimes in passing on five gongs.
Time Side: white enamel dial with Breguet numerals, power reserve indicator for the movement, power reserve indicator for the chime, sector for time of sunrise and sunset combined with 24 hour day/night display, three subsidiary dials indicating leap year combined with date, day combined with month, constant seconds combined with seasons, blued steel hands and central gold star tipped hand for running equation of time. Celestial Side: sapphire moon discs to display sky chart, visible horizon, Sirius index, lunar orbit, moon phases, moon index, meridian, bezel set with four screws and precision adjustment of the movement. Large case weighing approximately 530 grams, Roman numerals around the aperture in the front, calendar corrector between 12 and 1 o’clock, day corrector at 4 o’clock, rapid date corrector lever at 2 o’clock, lever in the band for silent/strike, push piece in the band at 6 o’clock to activate minute repeater, large rotating bow for selective opening of the covers, case back finely decorated to partially reveal the celestial side.
