A rare Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever chronograph watch with central register, circa 1871. Retailed by H. Muller London & Shangaï. Jewelled gilt lever movement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer scale calibrated for fifths of a second, central minute register and subsidiary seconds. Monogrammed case, hinged back, chronograph mechanism operated through the crown. Case and cuvette signed and numbered, dial signed H. Muller London & Shangaï.
