A very fine Swiss 14K gold half-hunting cased watch with an Extract from the Archives, circa 1891. Sold on November 7th, 1891, to Verhagen in Cologne. Fine gilt ¾ plate movement, bimetallic screw balance, Breguet hairspring, fine adjusting device, lever escapement, screwed chatons, polished winding wheels, crown winding. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. Engine-turned case, the front with an engraved chapter ring and black Roman hours, the back with a central blank shield-shaped cartouche, a lever for time setting in the bezel, punched.
