Gold split seconds chronograph by Audemars Piguet

A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch, circa 1912. Movement manufactured in 1902, finished, encased and sold in 1912. Nickel finished lever movement, 22 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands, two subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds. Plain case, engraved coat-of-arms to the hinged back, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through a button in the band and through the crown. Case and cuvette numbered, dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
