A fine and large, keyless Swiss school pocket watch in niëllo gold case and 24-hour dial, made by Technicum Du Locle, and anchor chronometer by Maurice Matthey, circa 1923.
Numbered anchor chronometer movement under factory glazing. Perfectly preserved enamel dial with Breguet radial hours, outer minutes track, red 24-hour numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel hands. Exceptional quality, tula/niëllo silver and gold à-goutte case with a case maker’s punch mark Niel HF (Huguenin Frères / Huguenin Frères & Co. / Fabrique Niel). Manufacturer Huguenin Frères, dust cover signed and dated.
