A rare Swiss 18K yellow gold minute repeating keyless hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1875. A polished case, front and back covers with engraved foliate monograms and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with stylized Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 23 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial and cuvette signed, cuvette numbered, case numbered.
