A fine English 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Kleiser & Son in York, circa 1900. This watch has a mechanical manual winding movement featuring a lever escapement. The white enamel dial shows black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, and steel spade hands. The timepiece is housed in a smooth three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case, with a polished bezel, a fluted winding crown, an adjacent small pin set pusher for time setting, and a round suspension bow. The watch is accompanied by its original fitted presentation case.
