Gold Repousse quarter repeater in pair cases

An English quarter repeating cylinder in 22-carat gold repousse pair cases circa 1760. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement, gilt dust cover pierced to reveal the regulator disc and diamond endstone. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel.  Push pendant quarter repeating on a bell in the back of the case. Later white enamel dial with Roman numerals, pierced gilt hands. Pierced and engraved gold inner case, gold push pendant and bow.  Gold outer case, the repousse back decorated with a classical scene, pierced and engraved around the edge and on the front bezel
