A  very fine gold enamel pocket watch for the chinese market, circa 1820. 18k gold case, pendant, band and bezels engraved and opaque red and blue enamelled with champleve decoration, on the back lid a very finely painted multi coloured enamel plaque depicting the farewell of a beloved, lavishly florally engraved gold dome. Enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, centre seconds, gold spade hands. Bridge movement according to lepine, keywind, gilt, lavishly florally engraved, signed,  finely florally engraved,  duplex escapement, going barrel, pierced balance cock, blued balance spring, five-arm steel balance, chatoned diamond endstone on balance
