Gold watch, engraved and enamelled, inscribed on the movement ‘Manufactured by B. Lawley, London, circa 1862-1863. For W.C.Shaw, Glasgow’, with case maker’s mark ‘JWS’ for James Walter Stock, Clerkenwell, and London hallmarks. Decorative dial with flower pattern in the centre and Roman numerals. The braided pattern on the back.
