An English 18K gold key wind open faced quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1860. Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, two polished hammers striking on two gongs. Repeating slide to the band.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and black hands. 18 Carat engine turned hinged case, repeat slide at 2. Cuvette signed Joseph Fairer maker to the Queen London.
