An English verge by Windmills in gold pair cases set with a cornelian, circa 1730. Full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with mask, pierced and engraved foot. Plain gilt balance, silver regulator disc. Fine white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel beetle and poker hands. Plain gold inner case, gold pendant, and stirrup bow. Gold outer case, the back set with a cabochon cornelian stone.
