An English lever watch in a gold half hunter case, hallmarked London for 1872. Gilt 3/4 plate movement with English lever, cut compensated bimetallic balance.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, unusually placed subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, blued steel double spade hands.
Polished hinged round case with Roman numeral chapter to front and snap on cuvette. Dial & movement signed, case stamped HD.
