An English verge pocket watch with decorative gold dial in an engine turned gold case, circa 1815. Full plate fusee movement with engraved cock, diamond end stone. Steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. Winding through the decorative gold dial, engine turned center, applied gold Roman numerals on a matted ground and gold hands. Single bodied engine turned 18 Carat open face case with reeded bezels, middle, pendant and bow. Sprung front bezel opened by a button in the pendant, the movement hinge at nine o’clock, maker’s mark IR.
